An early family photo, circa June 09.

I need to get out of this. The blurry days; the angsty emotions welling up inside of me and coming out in the form of word vomit. I'm angry, and I'm not wanting Christmas to come at all. I'm not wanting to spend my time between a separated family, to be humble about my ridiculous sister; to accept the fact that nothing will ever be warm and bubbly between my parents ever again.
But you know what?
I'm going to get over it.

I was catergorizing my pictures last night and found a lot of them that I had always wanted to post online but just never had. So that's what this post is.

Hawaii, Feb 09. I never posted any of these pictures on my journal, because I wanted it to be my own secret.

Sean's farm, March 09. Bunnies!

Soup and love with Nae.

Beer muffin.

One of my favorites of Coby.

May of 09. He escaped and was hit by a car while I was at work yesterday.
This is the last photo I took of him from the night before.
My heart feels like an avalanche.

We buried him in the woods where I grew up. The ground was frozen but we kept digging.
We put white cranberries and rocks around his grave.

Today was so tough.

I know it's been Fall for awhile, but it didn't really hit me until I went to the pumpkin patch a couple days ago.
I drove all the way to Hunter Farms, in Union, WA. Union is in Shelton. Shelton is... well, it's on 101. But I wanted to go to a pumpkin patch where I had to cut the pumpkin off the actual vine, on the ground. And only in the middle of a small town can you do something like that. Anyways, the ride up there was beautiful. The highway was splashed with a ton of orange and red.

It was muddy. CRAZY muddy. But I got to ride a tractor full of hay and carry pumpkins and eat pulled pork sandwiches from a shady small town van (it didn't kill me, and it was good).

(Some of these pictures are from Sean's Canon, and some are from my Nikon.)

On the ride there. Sean has really big eyes.

Hunter Farms. Official home of a cowboy riding a giant salmon.

Our first pick of the day was this weird gourd with vines on it. I thought of Veggie Tales haha!

Some parts had all of these sunken pumpkins, like a swamp.

We gave up on this one because it was too heavy...

but not before Sean showed off his man strength. Just look at that power!

Worst part! Sean lost his shoe in the muck twice. We had to navigate around the whole thing.

Sean is taking a picture of...

me being silly haha. Do you notice how his camera makes things look like real life, and mine makes thing look all bright and shiny?

Not enough mud to compensate for my complaining, I know, but, here's a boot shot.

I'm happy because I get to ride a hay wagon. It's the little things, you know?

Best funnel cake I've ever tasted, no joke! Made by this old guy with no teeth.

I'm going to end this post with one of my favorite things:

Dogs with shiny fur!

Lemme touch your golden heads, neighborhood doggies.

The end!

I've been using Jason's for awhile, too, but for some reason I couldn't get the same pictures out of his. I'm so used to my D40 that it's like a crutch. I have it back though!
And I have some random pictures to share.

WE ARE...

THE ONE.
Bra, that is.
Just look at those pouty lips.

I call this one:
"Jason, and cup."

Sean made me dinner tonight. Because my old man is the grill master. We ate, we had Irish Cream, we played Wii bowling until we all were satisfied, and then it was his bedtime.

I love you, pops.

My dad had a whole bag of those nail games, where you try to get one nail out of the other ones.

Moop!

Sunset grilling makes steaks taste magical!

Haha we tried almost ten shots of him moving the steaks because he wanted a FLAME in it!

I am not asian, at all.

Lori, my dad's cute girlfriend. =)

Wednesday was also Emerald's birthday. She's going to put "her two best friends in it!"
Meaning her dogs Connor and Panda haha.

We also got her a pair of Toms Shoes, which she was intent on wearing right then and there.
She had tequila, remember?

Happy birthday, Emerald!

This would be an appropriate ending, I would think.

The end!

His main reason was for a wedding on Friday night, but he also had the added bonus of getting a new car.
Lucky him. =)
We had breakfast in the morning, hence the picture above.

Anyways, not a lot of pictures to show off, but at the wedding they'd rented a photo booth for four hours. You get a physical copy and they let you take the digital copy off the website. So I put those up, too.
Enjoy!

My brother looking mighty pleased in his new car.
I want to reach into this photo and brush the hair out of my eyes SO BAD.

Before the wedding!

Moop.

This photo cracks me up because Emerald literally gave me 'muskrat eyes' haha!

They mostly come out at night.
Mostly.

Does it make me bad that I had eight of these?
Each?
...
Just kidding...

And some pictures from the photo booth:

The end! <3

I'd like to make a personal post, my friends.
Because soon - very soon in fact - my beagle Charlie will be officially fourteen years old. Yeah, yeah, I know before I've always said he's fourteen, but that's because he really is... this month.
But whatever.
The guy's old.
The last couple days I've had the flu, you know, the vomit/body pain/oh my gosh I want to die flu. And Charlie and Coby stayed by my side the entire time. (Well, including Sean and my mom, but they aren't 3 ft long and can't curl up into a warm ball next to your body.)

So what if the dog farts whenever the hell he feels like it? So what if he pretends to be deaf when you call him? So what if he eats anything he comes in contact with, even if it's in your lap, and tries to pull the "oh I'm sorry but you never feed me" look when he gets caught?
So what if I constantly have to put my hand on his chest when he's asleep to make sure he's still alive?

He eats grass but doesn't puke, ever. That's talent, folks.

He sleeps 17 out of the 24 hours in a day.
But he chases things in his dreams, so he's still getting exercise.

He has floppy ears and no matter what you do with them, he stays asleep.

He uses the same table in the house to stretch every time he wakes up.

He doesn't care when he looks like a doofus.
Which is a lot, by the way.

Basically, I want him to live for a long time. Happy early birthday bud.
You made my childhood a pleasant, doggy filled rapture.

"... dude.

Man, life has been crazy. I've been working almost forty hours a week for the past month and haven't really gone anywhere except Seattle and my house. Definitely not complaining though, because I have been blessed with a full time job and an income to support the things I want to do.
I went to Sean's house on Tuesday after I picked up the new Imogen Heap CD (which is amazing, I recommend you all listen to it) and the Professor Layton game (also amazing). His mom canned about thirty tomato sauces and we ate udon.

What I wanted to share with you, though, is the fact that Sean's parents got baby rabbits. Oh yeah. And they are damn cute.

Kuta-san in the kitchen. After they shed their fur they look so damn pretty.

Baby bunny! He doesn't have a name yet, though. The other one I've nicknamed Pasco; but I didn't get any pictures of him yet. Just this little cutie!

"Oh hai. I am in a hat because I'm afraid of heights."

Man, you know what's really cute? Their faces. And they're soft.

This is Cutie Pie. Yes, that is her name for reals.

Thanks for posing with me, Cutie Pie.

"No prob, inferior human person. Feed me something."

Animal style,
end!

This weekend was my cousin Alyssa's wedding, and we drove nine hours to Idaho for it.
And, well, twelve hours back. Don't ask me how we got stuck on the 'scenic' route.

Anyways, it was beautiful and HOT. All the weather we've been getting here went right over there. Boise was 106 Sunday and the entire wedding was held outside.
I'll tell you all about it.
Sorry, beforehand, but a lot of the pictures are very orange. You'll see why.

For some reason, my car was filled with more asian snacks than anything else...

Like Gummy Choco, which are like round haribo gummies covered in really good chocolate.

Or these delightful onion rings, which were "onion salad" flavored.

We drove a good nine hours and made it to Boise by about seven at night. We ate at this place called the 'Flying Pie Pizzaria' and I swear to god, I kick myself for not bringing my camera. Their restrooms were the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. And they had little jedi's on the silverware dispenser that said 'use the fork'.

They made us a balloon though, because we were obviously first timers. It was sweet.

Afterwards I met with my cousin in a huge park nearby. I only got this shot before my camera went crazy and my SD card was full.

The wedding was at four pm the next day, so we swam in the morning and dilly dawdled around until we got to the Bishops' House (huge, southern style country wedding house).

This is Ashley, Alyssa's younger sister and my younger cousin. She's about the same age as Sara.

The funny thing about watching Alyssa and her bridesmaids is that they were too young to remember a lot of the wedding things, like "Do I wear two of these? Which one do I throw to the crowd?" And all of them just shrugged haha.

Their colors were orange and white. It actually turned out wonderfully cute.

Alyssa and her step-dad Joe walking down the aisle! She looked AMAZING.

Congrats!

In between the actual ceremony and the reception they got their pictures taken and we hung out in the Bishops' House and drank lemonade and iced tea. Sean and some of the men set up tables and we waited around for a good hour or so.

The cake used buttercream because Alyssa, in her exact words, said, "Eww, fondant just tastes foreign or something."
Good choice, I must say.

Theme, theme, everywhere! Yay.

Even the food looked color coordinated.

This is what the front of the house looked like. Charming, right?

Family photo!
Ironically I'm the only cousin from her dad's side that showed up, most of that entire party is family from her mom's side.

One of the bridesmaids had a Pentax that I messed with during the wedding so she could have some pictures, too. Here is my face when I discover I've had it on a ridiculous setting the entire time. Ooops.

Over-exposed lovin'!

Sean and I goofed off while we waited for the other festivities to start.
I have a leaf.

Sean has a camera.

Aww man Sean looked so good right here =)

My mommy took this one!

Ok, so fast forward because the tables are all set up and its time to EAT.
And, everyone is hot and hungry. These little mint holders made everyone happy, though.
I just know it.

Makayla and... uhm... her name started with an 'M' too.

Feed me, seymour.

Idahoan gangstas know how to DO, even on their wedding day... haha!

The toast! Using sparkling grape juice, of course.

My aunt, embarrassing the hell outta my poor cousin and her husband. But it was funny.

After that I kinda stopped taking pictures. There was the cake cutting and some other things but pretty much after the speech is when things died down. Oh, Sean and I did go visit the Old Penitentiary, which happened to be next door.

I could totally photoshop him out and put him in a bunch of Disneyland pictures and nobody could tell the difference, I bet.

In the end we went back home, swam some more and then crashed. We didn't even get up till nine the next morning and all of us just slugged around. We left around 12 and didn't get home till 10 at night.

Aww, tired little Sean with his ear phones.

We did, however, after taking the scenic route, stop and get some produce from this cute little town.

My mom enjoys the loveliness of the doughnut peach.

And Sean... well, Sean just models them for me. But he liked them too.

The end!

And, although I've seen her lots this year and last year, apparently I only have two entries of pictures from when we were 18 or so. Check 'em out if you're bored:
Memory lane one and
Memory lane two.

No blood for you, suckah!!

This entry has no point.

Ohh yes, Coby very much does make up for one thing... soft fur. You can never have enough soft fur.

Hey everyone! There was a two day hiatus.
My journal was deleted in a lame act of revenge.... except for that particular idiot left a trail to my email account and posted an entry from an unknown IP address. Making it very easy to point a finger at the perpetrator.
Ahh. That wonderfully insane sister of mine has done it again!
... or not, actually.

And, oh, I know my family stories get boring sometimes, but this is what she posted if you want to be amused for a couple minutes. Ironically, it was posted and then the journal was deleted... so I never even got to read it when it was, ahem, most important.

I've come to realize some things....
I'm not sure why I didn't see it before...

I have no life.
I spend my days filling my fat ass up with azn food and watching anime with my spoiled brat of a faggot boyfriend.
I'm almost 21.
I have no future.
I have to live with either my dad or my mom because I'm too pathetic to support myself.
I have no path in life, no plan as to where I'm going. I'll be making minimum wage until I die.
I know I'm ugly.
I know I'm fat.
I know I have no friends.
I try and make up for it with my dog.
I lost my job at aero because I was such a huge bitch nobody liked me.

I play the innocent one who tries to get along with everybody; but really, any time i'm 'helping' someone or trying to 'fix' a situation, it's only for my own gain.

I think I should go suicide.
It would be beneficial to everyone and the planet.

You know what though?
I missed all you guys. I missed Alana and her sweet quotes and love stories and Brandi with her new life starting and the Ball twins with their super, fantastically random entries. And Christina's writers block thing she does.
I missed my communities and everyone's weird posts and... I missed my journal in general.
I'm very excited to have it and to keep posting.

Sean got me a bouquet of lilies two days ago. They smell so damn good... the bulbs are fully open now, and the downstairs permeates with the smell of fresh flowers. Mmm. I've woke up from headaches almost daily this past week and every time I start heading downstairs the smell makes me feel a little better.

I will probably go back to working at Starbucks next week. I saw Transformers on Imax yesterday, stopped by my old Starbucks afterwards and as a joke one of the girls asked if I wanted my job back. I told her I did, actually, as long as I got over 20 hours a week, and she said they were in need of people for full time. I called my old boss and she said she'd love to hire me back on.
So bla bla bla, I have a meeting Saturday to go over my paperwork and make sure everything is up to par. And hopefully I can just relax back into it and forget all the drama of the past three weeks.

Sigh... that sounds so nice right now.

Ahh. Bruno. Bruno is a bully, but give him food and his ugly stares turn sweet.

This is Sakura, one of Sean's dogs. I call her Saki and it drives Yoshiko crazy. She head-butts me a lot.

This is Sakura's older brother, Kuta. Kuta chases pine cones and bitch slaps you when you try to pick it up off the ground. It's hilarious and painful.

This is them together. But... I bet this picture could be better...

Aha! Well, re-pierced. Sean asked me where I was going, I told him "Claires" and he almost flipped. He called up BJP in the mall and made sure they used a needle, not a gun, and took me down there today. I had no idea there was a difference between a piercing gun and a needle until Sean told me... and suddenly all my infections and ear horror stories made sense. The guy who did it was really sweet and shy, despite his forty-two face piercings. Never judge a book by its cover.

I'm stuck with what to do for or with my father on Sunday. I was thinking Pikes Place or Dragonfish in Seattle, but bla bla bla I'm not sure. Honestly the guy would love it if I took him to friggin Home Depot and bought him a hot dog and some tools but he deserves more than that. Ah. I'll think of something.

I love this picture of Jenae. Most of the time the sun is behind it because that's where it rises. It beckons me.

I want to climb it.

It's covered by a fence, though. Do you think it's illegal to climb it?
Maybe if I went super early, like four am or something.

I want to get to the top and write my name up there.

I was going to post graduation pictures of my mom and sister, but I want them for myself and not the whole world.
I'm selfish like that.
Instead, I will post something more colorful...

An evening with my totally awesome dogs.

No, really. This is a good one.

First off, I think some introductions are in order.

This is my (nearly) two year old Corgi, Coby.
Coby loves to eat grass.

This is my (nearly) fifteen year old Beagle, Charlie.
Charlie is the commander. Don't you forget that.

This is the next door neighbors dog, Bruno.
Bruno escapes into our yard five out of seven days a week, drinks our water, steals our food, and shits in our lawn.
So he's pretty much mine, too.

It usually starts out like this.

Then Coby and Bruno make out, I mean, start biting each other's faces.
Respectfully, of course.

Charlie sniffs the ground.

They make face.

Charlie feels like it's getting too loud and makes howling noises.

laksdjdskj.

Bruno, trying to be cooler than Charlie, saunters off as he realizes Charlie is in a much manlier stance than he.

Bruno mean mugs me.

I turn to Coby's sweet, beautiful, slobbery face for comfort.

The three decide to go their separate ways.

Bruno gets asian face.

Charlie does not need friends. I love discovering random things, which could be why Jay and I get along so well. Jay, Jordan and I went to Olympia this morning to eat some food at the farmers market and pick up the cups Sean and I made for his birthday. The alley to the side had a wall, called the 'free wall', where you can graffiti any part of it.

Anyways, there's more under the cut.

Except this one.

Yesterday was so nice! And today is too! I freaking love the sun. And angus beef hot dogs in a park on the grill, waiting to be loaded with fatty toppings and piled into your mouth. Yum!

Martin turned twenty-three on the 14th and he had a late get together. Basically an excuse to get all his friends and family together, play frisbee and eat burgers and cake. A good choice, I must say. I was lazy and made pink cherry jubilee cupcakes for a present because sweet food is SO MUCH better than a boring old gift.
Really.

Martin senior fires up the barby.

And the other Martin helps.

Kelsey and her older sister.

Martin likes grilled food, so he must be american.

Snarf.

You know, nobody was really irritated that I took pictures of them snarfing food down.

Sean demonstrates my totally pink cupcakes I made.

Face plant.

Poor frosting.

Martin's sister and her friends.

Emerald thinks my cupcake is cute, too.

She might even love it a little.

Aww.

Aww number two.

Taro-kun says "Yo!"

I have a lot of images I want to post but there's just so damn many. I look at them and keep them locked in my head so I can't forget them.

I feel like I only take photography when I'm in love.

I love my dogs and I love my cousins and I love Sean and Jason and my dad and mom and all the people and things I take pictures of.

They're all such good people to me.
I appreciate good people.

So Sean and I decided to make chicken parmesan because he's never actually had it.
I wanted to make it with better ingredients than when I was a child, like actually breading it myself and making my own sauce rather than canned spaghetti sauce and frozen chicken patties.
But it's good both ways, actually...
And it was really nice out so we played on the mini farm Sean lives on.

Jay came too!

Doin' the cheese is the best part.

Gooeeeeeyyyyy LOVE.

Yum!

Then, we decided to feed the llamas because they're my favorite thing to have fun with on a sunny day.

Jay pet Candy like she was a puppy.

Candy got noble-looking.

And grinned a good, toothy grin.

There's two more llama's also, but they hate the camera.
Anyways, Sean was like, "Want me to catch the rooster for you?" and Jay and I are like, "Yeah!"
So we went to torture poor mister rooster.

Waiting for the kill.

The crouch...

The scoop...

The grab...

Success!

We fed the bastard pine nuts, too.

Then, mister rooster gained his pride back by humping the chickens and posing for me with the sun.
Yay!

Oh, and we tried to get the rabbits too but those bastards are fast.
We caught Pookie though.

Meow. I'm Pookie.

I love mini farms.
And fresh eggs. Ahh. Fresh eggs are so damn good...

Last night I had a dream that everyone in my family came home for Easter dinner. It was sunny and my dad was hosting a barbeque and feeding Coby little pieces of food. My mom looked beautiful and happy; Sara looked healthy and mature. Ben was in such a good mood. My brother Nate came, too, with one of his buddies. We all laughed when he told us the government faked his death so he could become a spy. The last thing I said before I woke up was,
"This chicken tastes really good, dad."

Lordy.
It was just a dream, but I held onto it all day because it made my heart feel so good. I can't even feel sad about it because it was such a damn good dream.

I cleaned my room and the bathroom and re-organized everything because I felt
so
amazing.

Even if it's a dream, it's still beautiful.

(Photo's are courtesy of the lovely Sean Haines)
